Jorge Mujica, Arise Chicago
WHO:  Media professionals of Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV), joined by an interfaith community delegation
WHAT: Workers and their delegation will rally for a pro-union vote in their NLRB election, scheduled for Friday August 11, 2015
WHEN: Friday, July 31, 2015, 10:00 AM
WHERE: In front of CAN TV Studios, 322 S. Green St., Chicago, IL
WHY: A majority of CAN TV workers have signed union cards to be represented by the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians – Communications Workers of America (NABET – CWA), citing low wages and lack of voice on the job.

Like workers at ABC, NBC, UNIVISION, TELEMUNDO and Fox, workers at CAN TV decided to organize under NABET-CWA Local 41, Chicago’s Broadcast Union.
