About 76% of workers in Illinois do not have access to paid family leave through their jobs, meaning most people can’t take paid time off to care for themselves or their loved ones.

This teach-in is an opportunity for workers, advocates, and community members to come together to learn about our efforts to win Paid Family and Medical Leave in Illinois — and how you can help move this critical initiative forward.

● How workers and allies can support and take action
● Space for questions, conversation, and community
● Free food & beverages provided

Getting There: Directions & Parking
● Entrance: Please use the main entrance on 16th Street. Look for Chicago Women in Trades signage at the front of the building.
● Parking: Free parking is available in the CWIT parking lot adjacent to the building. Street parking is also available nearby.
● Accessibility: If you have specific access needs, please let us know.
