Each summer, worker rights organization Arise Chicago partners with the city and county on an educational “Check Your Check” campaign to remind workers of annual minimum wage increases and other employment law updates that go into effect on July 1st. A wage increase is particularly important as prices rise and affordability remains a challenge for many working families.
